After earning a degree at Wichita State in Journalism, Carol started her career as a reporter and staff photographer for a regional newspaper in New York. She also owned a small specialty shop selling teas, coffees and kitchen items. While helping manage a friend’s business, she went back to school for accounting, and received her MBA at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is licensed as a CPA in both New York and Kansas. Carol has experience with audit, review, compilations and compliance filings. She has done work with not-for-profit entities, in the beverage industry, municipal and school districts and bank examinations. She also works with individual, trust and business clients.
Carol has extensive experience with volunteer and community service organizations. She loves to take care of her chickens, ducks, cats, dogs and cattle. She loves to spend time with her husband Eric, sharing his love of motorcycles and antique automobiles.
